“And One”
We believe that everyone should have access to the Arts & Culture, which many studies show are good for health and well-being; for reducing social isolation; and improving community cohesion. We know there are many people living in our community who are socially isolated, either through health or financial reasons. We want them to be able to come to Glebe shows, and that’s where you come in.
When you book tickets, we will be asking you if you want to donate £5, £10, or £20 to our “And One” scheme, and also if you will “Gift Aid” your donation (we can reclaim 25% from HMRC). Money raised this way will cover the cost of a ticket for someone else. These tickets will be issued by local organisations working in the sector, to people who they think would benefit most. We are in the very early stages of talks with some of these organisations.
