Crich is the latest village to promote “Live & Local” shows, bringing top quality professional acts to the heart of the community, at affordable prices. The first show brings Warwickshire based Kel Elliott to the Glebe Field Centre on Saturday 16th February – doors open 7:00 pm. There is a licensed bar. Kel Elliott is a singing double bass player who fronts an impressively energetic and dynamic jazz/blues band. Kel has a distinctly rich & powerful voice (think Alison Moyet bathed in chocolate!) She's backed by a tight band of piano, percussion and rhythm guitar, and together they perform fresh self-penned songs with catchy melodies, as well as quirky versions of well-known hits! Kel’s sense of humour is infectious and acerbic; she interacts with her audience so well that you will not only enjoy great music, but great craic! "Kel Elliott was fantastic! I have seen a few acts now and I think this band is one certainly up there with the best" - audience member – Alrewas (October 2012) Tickets – from David Lane 01773 856664 or david@joylane.org.uk For further info about this and other shows locally click http://eepurl.com/q7B-9 Follow on Twitter @DavidMTLane
